Lathers nicely, what can I say, it does the job without tearing my face apart....at my age (50+) I don't use any other, got my boyfriend addicted to it as well. Actually I really like most of Neutrogena products. It was more effective than my perscribed acne medication. Sometimes it drys my skin a little bit in the winter but my face feels clean. A clean unlike after any other type of cleanser.
